Rangemaster Cooker Maintenance Tips

Cleaning is a regular exercise in all households. There are areas that need special attention. One of these is the oven, where cleaning is particularly expensive. Even those who count themselves as skilled cleaners despair at some ovens. Encrustation, dried-up food residues and stubborn dirt make your life very difficult.

The grill is particularly difficult to clean, as it has many corners and hard-to-reach areas. Grease residues cannot always be removed with detergent, and sharp cleaning agents and utensils are also not recommended, as they would damage the sensitive material too much. So how can you keep the oven clean without spending hours scrubbing?

First of all, there are models today that are equipped with self-cleaning programs. This is, of course, the easiest way to keep the oven clean. Especially in today’s hectic world, saving time is an important feature when it comes to devices. But of course, this function also costs extra, because behind it is a sophisticated system. Therefore, not everyone can afford an oven with self-cleaning. For those who still need to clean the oven conventionally, we have some tips and tricks at hand.

Clean immediately and without delay

The easiest way is to clean the oven immediately after use. This is one thing a cooker insurance policy or an appliance insurance policy will not do. Always remove the tube after the oven has cooled down a little. However, do not wait until it has completely cooled down. This means that the food residues will have cooled down which makes them difficult to remove. When preparing fatty foods, always wipe out the interior with some detergent. Dishwashing liquid with the power of lemons is best suited for this! Due to the acidity of the lemon, fat residues dissolve better and can be easily removed.

A good tip is to put some lemon water inside the oven. When heated at low temperatures for more than half an hour, the lemon water evaporates and removes the fat residues. Connect the oven well and let it dry when the door is open. Persistent encrustation can be removed very well with a lemon half.

So, clean the oven thoroughly after each use so that no encrustation and grease films can form in the first place. If you use the oven uncleaned, you are at risk of taking harmful substances. Encrusted foods, which are burned even further, release substances that are harmful to health and stick to the fresh food and thus transfer. In addition, unpleasant smoke development can occur, which is also harmful to health.

If the oven is demountable

As soon as you can remove items from the oven you should do so. Soak the parts in warm rinse water so that the residues soften. Thorough removal of the rest is then only done with a soft cloth without any effort and other chemicals. Make sure that they dry very well in the interior and only then are reattached. Microfiber cloths are also very effective as they simply bind to the dirt and do not damage surfaces.

Care for the interior

It is recommended to apply care cream at regular intervals. The care cream acts on the material and seals it, making it easier to remove encrustations.

If you follow these simple rules and clean the oven regularly from the beginning and after each use, you will have a long, fun and friendly relationship with your oven!
